3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park
This trip will take you through the plateau and high altitude of western Uganda to one of the lowest altitudes in the western part of the East African rift valley where the melody of wonders Queen Elizabeth lies. The park is the second biggest savanna park in Uganda and is home to 98 different mammal species such as elephants, hippos, buffalos, lions, leopards, antelopes and an estimated number of 620 different bird species which makes it a perfect safari destination and bird watching paradise. The western part of the country is divided into two with the magical Kyambura gorge that is home to a family of 26 chimpanzees and 5 other different primate species that makes it a perfect destination for nature walks and primate watching. The south is one area to discover with its famous tree climbing lions and you can explore it with a one day extension
Day one: Uganda Safari to Queen Elizabeth
Upon your arrival, you will meet our representative who will drive you to Queen Elizabeth national park situated in the western part of the country with stopovers for lunch and photography. See royal drum makers, banana plantations and colorful fruit markets along the road sides. Arrive early evening for a game viewing safari best for animals like the buffaloes, antelopes, lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas and lots of savanna birds
Day Two: Chimpanzee tracking and launch drive
After a heavy breakfast, you will report at the park headquarters for briefing and afterwards descend into the gorge or Kalinzu forest for chimpanzee tracking that also rewards sightings of other primates like the vervet monkeys red colobus monkeys, baboons among others. Return at your lode for lunch which will be followed by a breath taking boat cruise along kazinga cannel rich in viewings of the crocodiles, hippos, water birds and many more.
Day Three: End of Uganda Tour
You will have a relaxed breakfast this morning and then check out at your lodge for a transfer to Kampala with a wide game view as you drive out of the park. You will also have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch at the equator for photography and souvenir shopping
